- This 2-hour seminar is designed for families of persons newly diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. This seminar will differentiate Alzheimer's disease from other diseases with dementia and discuss diagnosis and treatments. Warning signs, risk factors and stages of the disease are also addressed. In addition, techniques and approaches to enhance communication and understand changes in behavior are explored. * This program is intended for non-professional caregivers only.
